Are you feeling lost in the job search maze after months (or even years!)of unemployment? Our program is designed specifically for individuals like you, ready to take charge of their career journey.
If you’re going through a transition such as unemployment you might think, “What is it that I want to do with my life?” Or maybe you were in the career of your dreams and you want to continue growing it but you need help figuring out where to go from where you are right now. This program is for you.
Our Back to Work program is especially for non-Dutch speakers who are looking for better work, mamas & papas returning to work, and anyone feeling stuck in the job search.
A Hybrid Accelerated Program
The program begins with you. We’ll discuss your skills, values, limiting beliefs, and areas for growth. It’s a good time to make sure you’re “aligning who you are with what you want in a career”. Often we find our clients overlooked for roles because their story didn’t align with the job they wanted. Don’t freak out but we will ask you to STOP applying for jobs during this part of the program. During this time, you may need to redefine what you tell future employers. Applying to companies while you’re still figuring this out will lead to confusion in your communications. And we want your total attention on YOU.
After you define who you are and what you want in your career we’ll discuss “the Dutch labour market”. We’ll match your skills with the needs of the market, identify which companies/industries align with your values, and determine networking opportunities. And we’ll begin the steps on how you want to position yourself. What is your story? How can your skills help in the company?
This will lead us to “how you will tell an updated story” about yourself, your abilities, and your career. First, we’ll realign your CV, LinkedIn, and Cover Letters with who you are and how you want to be seen. These tools are an excellent way to make a compelling first impression. We’ll refine how you tell your story and rehearse the job interviews you will have with recruiters and hiring managers. You’ll feel empowered and confident about your story, what you want, and how to get it.
