In addition to knowing the words, one must also understand the cultural context to ensure mutual understanding. Biases can play a role in determining how an immigrant is perceived based on factors such as their appearance, religion, or nationality. Moreover, internal doubts, such as feeling worthy of being in a new place, believing in one's abilities, and overcoming external obstacles, are also a part of the challenges immigrants face.
